Jay Annand is the President and CEO of Annandale Real Estate Company, with more than 28 years experience in commercial real estate. Annandale Real Estate is involved in asset management, disposition as well as brokerage of commercial properties. Jay has worked extensively on re-imaging and re-developing properties. Jay has sold well over 200 gas stations and truck stops as well as large portfolios of QSR including, Wendy’s, Hardee’s, KFC’s etc. He has valued and done BOV’s well over a hundred companies. Jay also partners with JAKG that owns six gas stations. He has a long track record of working with special servicers, receivers, trustees, banks and institutions to solve their real estate needs.
In his career he has sold over half a billion dollars of Commercial Real Estate. Has represented and negotiated leases for the FDIC in Downtown Dallas, other clients include C.S. First Boston, Lehman Brothers, Brown Brothers Harriman, and Stephens Investment Bank. He has redeveloped shopping centers for clients such as Mony and Northwestern Mutual, as well as individual clients. On the retail side he has worked with tenants such as Ross, Havertys, 24 Hr Fitness, La Madeleine, Aaron’s, Applebee’s, and Baylor.
Prior to the formation of Annandale Real Estate, Mr. Annand served as Senior Vice President at CB Richard Ellis. Prior to that he served as Director of Leasing at Insignia/ESG, overseeing a large leasing portfolio of both retail and office space throughout the Southwest. His success earned him the title of Insignia/ESG’s Broker of the year from 1999 to 2002. He has also been in the Dallas Business Journal’s Heavy Hitter list.
Mr. Annand graduated from Southern Methodist University and from the Cox School of Business and holds a Texas Real Estate Broker License. He is a member of both the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Mr. Annand is known for his work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to his clients.
